You will produce and maintain technical documentation across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and revise documentation for software, systems engineering, system operations, and testing.
- Develop installation, configuration, and how-to guides for project hardware and software.
- Create code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user manuals for system capabilities.
- Produce data definition, data flow, and field documentation from various technical sources.
- Collaborate with developers to generate quality technical publications and training materials.
- Maintain a current internal documentation library and coordinate document layout and design.
Required Skills
- Experience writing technical documentation for complex systems.
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to interpret technical terminology and maintain situational awareness of IT environments.
- Strong command of grammar and technical writing standards.
- Level I: Associate’s degree in a technical discipline and 2 years of experience, or 4 years of experience.
- Level II: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 6 years of experience, or 10 years of experience.
- Level III: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience (6 years if holding a Master’s degree).
