Description

You will produce and maintain technical documentation across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Write, review, and revise documentation for software, systems engineering, system operations, and testing.
  • Develop installation, configuration, and how-to guides for project hardware and software.
  • Create code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user manuals for system capabilities.
  • Produce data definition, data flow, and field documentation from various technical sources.
  • Collaborate with developers to generate quality technical publications and training materials.
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library and coordinate document layout and design.

Required Skills

  • Experience writing technical documentation for complex systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to interpret technical terminology and maintain situational awareness of IT environments.
  • Strong command of grammar and technical writing standards.
  • Level I: Associate’s degree in a technical discipline and 2 years of experience, or 4 years of experience.
  • Level II: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 6 years of experience, or 10 years of experience.
  • Level III: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience (6 years if holding a Master’s degree).
