Description

Write and maintain end-user documentation for permitting software, including user manuals, guides, and FAQs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create user manuals, troubleshooting guides, configuration guides, and administration guides.
• Build user assistance infrastructure such as how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections.
• Develop video tutorial scripts, infographics, process maps, and screenshot markups.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical information for general audiences.
• Test and update existing documentation while adhering to the in-house style guide and collect user data to identify revision areas.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in end-user documentation and process mapping.
• Ability to write user-friendly copy regarding highly technical subjects.
• Proficiency in HTML.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree.
