You will provide technical writing and documentation support for the NC FAST Program, focusing on procurement and contract administration.
Responsibilities
Write original, highly technical content for procurement documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Lead internal meetings to gather requirements and timelines, and assist in analyzing those requirements for accurate documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact to solicit, receive, and integrate content from internal and external subject matter experts.
Manage project administrative tasks such as project tracking, deliverables management, status reports, and project schedules.
Maintain an organized inventory of project documents and ensure all outputs adhere to contracting policies and procurement standards.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation support.
Direct experience writing RFQ and SOW documents.
Ability to draft contract amendments, notices of extension, and other procurement-related documentation.
Experience communicating with IT stakeholders, business leadership, and subject matter experts.
Strong proficiency in project tracking and deliverables management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
Preferred Skills
Experience updating project plans and schedules using MS Project.
