Description

You will develop operator and service manuals for medical devices. You own the documentation lifecycle from authoring to training support.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete operator and service manuals, including technical and safety bulletins.
• Create and maintain standard templates for manual documentation.
• Build technical training packages for Product Support staff.
• Write safe work instructions that are grammatically correct, concise, and clear.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes to ensure documentation meets client standards.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of experience writing technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience with XML authoring tools, specifically Oxygen XML.
• Knowledge of DITA and CMS.
• Experience in the healthcare or medical domain.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• University degree or college diploma in engineering or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker or Epic Editor.
