You write, edit, and maintain technical documentation for software products.

Responsibilities

• Study product specifications and system behavior to understand functionality.
• Write and update user manuals, API documentation, guides, and release notes.
• Maintain and archive documentation, ensuring version control reflects product changes.
• Analyze target users to tailor content detail and terminology appropriately.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to validate technical accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical content creation, including manuals and help content.
• Expertise in documentation review, editing, and ensuring content consistency.
• Proficiency in documentation maintenance and version management.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it for varied audiences.
• Experience working within SDLC and Agile development workflows.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Markdown.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with development and design teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating diagrams and visuals using tools like Snagit, Visio, or Figma.
• Knowledge of Git for repository management.
