Description

You will produce clear, concise documentation for web applications to support users from inexperienced to moderately experienced levels.

Responsibilities

• Research and write detailed instructions, procedures, and business context information for web applications.
• Update reports documentation and create new application help for the TSDS Upgrade.
• Remediate 508/accessibility issues within existing FSP help documentation.
• Expand and update obsolete user documentation for various Multi-Apps.
• Participate in peer reviews, inspections, and writing-related training sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
• Proficiency with authoring tools, specifically RoboHelp, for designing online help and user guides.
• Experience using screen capture and graphics tools.
• Ability to prepare online help, user manuals, training manuals, and quick reference guides for web-based systems.
• Experience using software change management tools.
• Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) within a team environment.
• Analytical skills to reconcile conflicting information and decompose high-level data into actionable details.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing information simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers, managers, and technical staff.
