Description

You will develop and maintain technical publications for major equipment systems and subsystems, ensuring accuracy across theory of operations, flight manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop publication elements including theory of operations, flight manuals, testing and troubleshooting procedures, and illustrated parts breakdowns.
• Create removal and installation procedures and schematic diagrams.
• Resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originators.
• Update publication elements based on reviews, source data changes, and equipment modifications.
• Analyze source data, maintenance concepts, and workflows to determine impact on technical publications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
• Proficiency with XML structures and Arbortext Editor.
• Experience using Contenta.
• Ability to document testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Experience analyzing equipment requirements and concept of design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with eXtensible Markup Language (XML) structures.
