Bridge payment domain expertise with technical implementation for Singapore banking clients, leading migration from legacy stacks to modern microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of payment systems from legacy stacks to microservices architectures.
• Analyze and optimize payment processes, including settlement engines and fund transfer protocols.
• Conduct technical assessments of payment system components to enhance performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues through cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure system integration and development tasks comply with PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR.

Required Skills

• 8 to 15 years of experience in the payments domain.
• Direct experience with Singapore banks is mandatory.
• Proficiency with payment platforms such as FIS, Finastra, or home-grown payment solutions.
• Deep knowledge of remittance systems, fund transfer protocols, Fast Pay solutions, and merchant payment gateways.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and payment operations.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and SQL.
• Functional knowledge of mobile wallets, QR code payments, and internet banking interfaces.
• Expertise in payment processing and settlement engines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, encryption standards, and fraud prevention.
