Description

You will defend client networks and systems by identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating attacks, and managing security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems continuously to detect, analyze, and assess the severity of security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and scheduled scans to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Partner with architects to design security solutions for proof of concepts and new technical service offerings.
• Manage security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security technologies.
• Assist with incident response efforts, including containment, analysis, recovery, and post-incident reporting.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in security.
• 2+ years of Cloudflare administration and configuration for enterprise clients.
• Proven experience handling attack mitigation and knowledge of L3/4 and L7 attacks.
• Proficiency with modern internet protocols including UDP and TCP.
• Advanced understanding of iptables and traffic analysis for anomaly detection.
• Strong computer networking fundamentals and command line/Bash shell expertise.
• Sysadmin skills across Linux, Mac, and Windows environments.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Ruby, PHP, C, C#, Java, or Perl.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• CISM, CISSP, or CISA certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Cloudflare ACE certification.
• Security certifications including GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, or GCFE.
