Description

You will lead database engineering initiatives and large-scale planning within the Charlotte, NC office.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute moderately complex database engineering deliverables.
• Analyze complex database challenges by evaluating variable technical factors.
• Resolve technical issues while adhering to functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel to meet engineering objectives.
• Provide 12x7 on-call support, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of database engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
• Experience monitoring databases for errors, locks, and failed updates.
• Experience leading and driving automation initiatives.
• Must not require visa sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of PostgreSQL administration experience.
• 3+ years of experience with MongoDB, GoldenGate, or Yugabyte.
• 2+ years of performance tuning experience.
