Description

You will lead data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks for client-facing projects, including BisTrack environment builds, migrations, and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data extracts and transform legacy customer data into BisTrack compatible formats.
• Import and manipulate data using updates and inserts within SQL tables.
• Map relationships within large relational databases containing over 1,000 tables.
• Develop stored procedures and functions from scratch to automate data processes.
• Manage file transfers using FTP/SFTP protocols to move data into SQL environments.

Required Skills

• Expert-level T-SQL coding and programming experience.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server administration, including SQL Agent, SQL Mail, and SQL jobs.
• Proven ability to perform performance tuning on SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Strong knowledge of cursors, CTEs, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience processing multiple file types including XML, .csv, .txt, .xls, and .xlsx.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data transformation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with BisTrack Schema, Business Intelligence (Smart Views, Smart Objects, Dashboards), and eBusiness agent settings.
• 3+ years of consulting experience.
• Knowledge of the Laser Beam Machining industry and board foot calculations.
