Description

You will undergo a 15-month technical training program focused on wallboard science and testing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and laboratory services independently to provide accurate results.
• Assist with lab support, including moving and handling gypsum wallboard panels and construction materials.
• Support facility operations through lab clean-up, phone coverage, and meeting preparation.
• Collaborate with managers to meet project goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Maintain an orderly and safe workplace in accordance with safety commitments.

Required Skills

• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Systems Engineering, Engineering Technology, or an Applied Sciences program.
• 0-2 years of experience in a testing laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including panels and buckets, on a periodic basis.
• Willingness to work in a dusty environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience or knowledge in Manufacturing, Applied Sciences, or Reliability Engineering.
