You will undergo a 15-month technical training program focused on wallboard science and testing fundamentals.
Responsibilities
Perform technical and laboratory services independently to provide accurate results.
Assist with lab support, including moving and handling gypsum wallboard panels and construction materials.
Support facility operations through lab clean-up, phone coverage, and meeting preparation.
Collaborate with managers to meet project goals, requirements, and timelines.
Maintain an orderly and safe workplace in accordance with safety commitments.
Required Skills
Associate's degree in Chemistry, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Systems Engineering, Engineering Technology, or an Applied Sciences program.
0-2 years of experience in a testing laboratory setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including panels and buckets, on a periodic basis.
Willingness to work in a dusty environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience or knowledge in Manufacturing, Applied Sciences, or Reliability Engineering.
