Description

You will undergo a 15-month technical training program focused on wallboard science and testing fundamentals, performing independent laboratory services to deliver accurate results.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and laboratory services independently to provide accurate test results.
• Assist with lab support tasks, including moving gypsum wallboard panels and construction materials.
• Support facility operations through lab clean-up, phone coverage, and meeting preparation.
• Collaborate with managers to meet project goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Maintain a safe and orderly workplace environment adhering to safety protocols.

Required Skills

• Associate's degree or any graduate in Chemistry, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Sciences, Systems Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Applied Sciences.
• 0-2 years of experience in a testing laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including panels and buckets, periodically.
• Willingness to work in a dusty environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or knowledge in Manufacturing, Applied Sciences, or Reliability Engineering.
