Description

You will undergo a 24-month technical training program focused on wallboard science and testing fundamentals.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and laboratory services independently to provide accurate results.
• Assist in laboratory support, including the physical handling and moving of gypsum wallboard panels and construction materials.
• Execute facility support tasks such as lab clean-up, phone coverage, and meeting scheduling to maintain operations.
• Contribute to a safe, injury-free work environment during daily tasks and plant trials.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to meet project goals, requirements, and timelines.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or an Applied Sciences program.
• 0-3 years of experience in a testing laboratory setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including panels, buckets, or other containers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to organize work and plan tasks effectively.
• Availability for travel to plant trials.
• Legal authorization to work without visa sponsorship or C2C arrangements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
