Description

You will lead API development and platform operations using Apigee.

Responsibilities

• Design and build proxy APIs on the Apigee platform.
• Develop API specifications using Swagger and OpenAPI Specification.
• Configure API security protocols including OAuth, JWT, and 2-way SSL on Apigee Edge.
• Maintain and operate the Apigee platform.
• Communicate technical Apigee solutions to customers, SMEs, and architects.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee API development and custom APIs.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and Web Service technologies (SOAP, REST).
• Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of data structures.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or equivalent progressive experience).
• Ability to work in a global offshore/onsore model.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience designing and building proxy APIs on Apigee.
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Git, Jenkins, Jira, SonarQube, or Splunk.
• Experience with Drupal for Dev Portals, Agile-scrum, and test-driven development.
