Description

You will lead the design, build, and maintenance of proxy APIs on the Apigee platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build proxy APIs on Apigee Edge, ensuring operational stability.
• Configure API security standards including OAuth, JWT, and two-way SSL.
• Develop API specifications using Swagger and OpenAPI standards.
• Communicate technical solutions to customers, SMEs, and architects to meet client requirements.
• Maintain Linux systems and write shell scripts for automation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience designing and building proxy APIs on Apigee.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee platform operations and maintenance.
• Proficiency in XML, JSON, and Web Service technologies (SOAP, REST).
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and shell scripting capabilities.
• Experience with data structures and API security configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Ability to work independently and in a global offshore/onshore team model.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting technologies like JavaScript or Node.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira) and SonarQube.
• Hands-on experience with Drupal for Dev Portal.
