Description

You will lead data engineering efforts and technical implementation within an Agile environment in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Lead development by resolving technical queries and designing solutions using Azure, Notebooks, and Spark.
• Design and develop data pipelines using Spark-Scala and Big Data technologies.
• Coordinate delivery between onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely implementation.
• Work closely with QA and cross-functional teams to validate final deliverables.
• Mentor junior data engineers and guide their technical growth.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• 5+ years of experience with Spark, preferably PySpark.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and database management.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Synapse.
• 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring junior engineers.
• Any Graduate degree.
