Description

You lead operational support and 24/7 deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments during the transition from on-premises multi-session desktops to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 SRE operational support for VDI products and manage production environments.
• Recruit, provision, and manage global Level 2 and Level 3 teams within a 24/7 follow-the-sun model.
• Execute all disaster recovery (DR) activities and maintain availability management standards.
• Apply SRE and DevOps frameworks to automate monitoring and product maintenance.
• Manage on-call rotas for incident management and lead people development through coaching and performance reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles specifically within AVD environments.
• Proven experience as a manager of managers, leading and motivating global technical teams.
• Strong background in L2/L3 Desktop Support or Desktop Engineering.
• Deep understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and problem management.
• Experience supporting large-scale organizations across globally diverse locations.
• Expertise in administering enterprise-level Windows devices.
• Ability to manage technical deliverables, budgets, and risks in coordination with Project Managers.
