Description

Manage enterprise payment applications, global operations, and technology leadership for critical production systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead global 24x7 operations, managing distributed teams and participating in on-call rotations for major incidents and operational continuity.
• Oversee application releases, change management, production implementations, and disaster recovery testing.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and proactive issue detection capabilities to ensure system health.
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams, communicating risks and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technology project management or leadership roles.
• Strong background in Java / J2EE and UNIX / Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and DB2 for database management.
• Experience with IBM MQ for messaging integration.
• Knowledge of Web Services, including SOAP and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Elastic Search for log analysis and observability.
• Experience with OBIEE or Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) for reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience supporting Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP), IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM), or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), MongoDB, or Kafka.
