Description

You enable associates to build, own, and govern their own Power BI reports and dashboards by guiding them through discovery, modeling, and visualization best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions, product demos, and interactive training on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform.
• Provide instruction on Power BI Desktop and Service, covering publish/share patterns, compliance, and governance.
• Coach associates on analytical problem framing, metric definition, and selecting appropriate visual storytelling approaches.
• Teach data modeling fundamentals, including star schema concepts, relationships, grain, and reusable semantic models.
• Translate Microsoft 365 and Power Platform updates into practical guidance for associates.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis and enablement roles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, data cleansing, and Power Query.
• Strong Power BI experience building end-to-end solutions: ingest, transform, model, DAX measures, and report design.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (relationships, star schema, dimensional thinking) and their impact on performance.
• Proven experience teaching, coaching, or enabling others with a focus on skill transfer.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose modeling, DAX, or report design issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 core tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI governance (workspaces, apps, refresh strategies, Row-Level Security).
• Familiarity with the broader Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and citizen-built solutions.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction, validation, and collaboration with data owners.
