Description

You will provide desk-side and remote technical support for desktop, laptop, and thin client hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, patch, and troubleshoot Windows 7 and 10 operating systems.
• Resolve issues involving Microsoft 2019, Office 365, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows networking using TCP/IP.
• Manage software deployment and troubleshooting for in-house and third-party applications.
• Escalate complex technical issues to management or higher-level support tiers.

Required Skills

• 4 years of experience in PC support (desktop, laptop, and thin client).
• 4 years of experience with Windows 7/10 installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
• 4 years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft 2019.
• 4 years of experience with Windows networking (TCP/IP) configuration.
• 4 years of experience using remote support tools.
• 4 years of experience installing and troubleshooting various software types.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Experience supporting Apple devices, including iPad and iPhone.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory at the client-side.
• Experience implementing hard drive encryption, specifically Bitlocker or McAfee.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with IT staff and non-technical users.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot desktop and network printer issues.
• Experience with Google Workspace products.
• Ability to modify the system registry.
• 4-year degree or equivalent technical study.
• Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCP.
