Description

You will own the monitoring and L1 support for telecom platforms, ensuring high availability for USSD, IVR, SIP, and CRBT services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor platform health and service availability across telecom stacks to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform L1 troubleshooting for platform, network, and service issues, analyzing logs to determine initial root causes.
• Manage incident tickets and alarms within defined SLAs using ticketing systems like Jira.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external telecom operators to resolve connectivity and service disruptions.
• Support deployment activities, configuration changes, and change management processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical operations or network support.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Working knowledge of SIP protocol, USSD, IVR, and CRBT services.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, ports, latency, and routing.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Remedy) and operational documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) or MCA.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience in a telecom VAS environment or with operator integrations.
• Familiarity with EGL platforms and advanced change management procedures.
