Description

You will monitor cloud infrastructure and perform Level 1 remedial activities for production environments. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor alerts and tasks to maintain production stability.
• Identify critical alarms and escalate them to the TechOps group with accurate technical details.
• Create and update tickets for escalated alerts, ensuring precise documentation.
• Execute troubleshooting and remediation steps following Confluence documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to assist the TechOps team in deeper investigations.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of experience supporting production environments.
• Linux system administration experience.
• AWS Cloud exposure.
• Working knowledge of Open Source environments.
• Ability to interpret and prioritize alerts from various monitoring sources.
• Basic SQL and database knowledge.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work in a 24/7/365 rotational shift environment.

Preferred Skills

• RHCE certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios or Xymon.
• AWS certification.
