You will manage the collection, cataloging, and traceability of metadata and data lineage across diverse data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end data lineage by identifying sources, transformations, dependencies, and destinations.
• Implement metadata cataloging solutions for MongoDB, Snowflake, and relational databases.
• Integrate lineage metadata with Collibra to support firmwide data governance and compliance.
• Build automation scripts and tools to support scheduled lineage capture and catalog maintenance.
• Design processes to monitor data quality and ensure lineage accurately reflects business logic.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and developing stored procedures or triggers.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and integration.
• Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and transformation logic.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Sybase.
• Knowledge of metadata cataloging and data governance principles.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Collibra or similar metadata management platforms.
• Metadata extraction experience from MongoDB and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA.
