Description

You will manage telecom infrastructure and services for 7,000 users across 37 locations, including secure detention centers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage telephone lines, data circuits (WAN, Internet, PRI), VoIP systems, and Interactive Voice Response Systems.
• Execute moves, adds, changes, and repairs for phone instruments and telecom hardware at various field offices.
• Oversee the conversion of Centrex phone systems to VoIP, including station reviews and integrator interaction.
• Design and maintain MDF, IDF, and cable infrastructures, including installation, termination, and testing of cabling.
• Coordinate with telecom vendors and carriers to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and oversee cabling work.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing telecom services.
• Experience with Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS).
• Proficiency with Verizon Enterprise Direct, Verizon CMAC, and VMM.
• Knowledge of Interactive Voice Response Systems and VTC infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and application problems in real-time.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365/Exchange Online, and MS Visio.
• Capability to work in small IDF closets and lift equipment up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to support 24x7 operations across NYC locations, including secure facilities in Brooklyn and Bronx.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Telecom Inventory Management Systems.
