Description

Install and maintain network infrastructure in Richmond, VA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire routers, switches, and network hardware.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot network devices.
• Use engineering documents and drawings to complete projects.
• Manage project deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in telecom or network installation.
• Working knowledge of data circuits including T1, MPLS, and Ethernet.
• Experience with fiber terminations and LAN/WAN cabling.
• Ability to wire and test 48V and 135V DC power systems.
• Functional understanding of 120V AC and rectifier systems.
• Knowledge of grounding requirements for electrical equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex network architecture troubleshooting.
