Description

You will perform installation and testing of telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install telecommunications equipment.
• Test circuits as required.
• Perform basic rack and stack of equipment and cabling.
• Label installed equipment and cabling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant telecom experience.
• Background in electrical systems.
• Experience with optical systems.
• Experience with fiber optic cable.
• Networking experience, including CAT5.
• Working knowledge of basic routers and switches.
• Proficiency with basic telecom tools (screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches, tape measure, wire strippers, crimpers).
• Familiarity with CAT5/6 connections and #2-#16 AWG wire.

Preferred Skills

• Experience across various telecom-related tasks.
• Ability to work independently.
