Description

You will manage and optimize Teradata database environments for data warehousing and BI operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes and BI tools, resolving errors and handling exceptions.
• Maintain UNIX platforms and develop shell scripts for automation.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and travel as needed for critical incidents.

Required Skills

• 6–12 years of Teradata DBA experience.
• Proficient in SQL and scripting.
• Strong experience with shell scripting on UNIX platforms.
• Exposure to data warehousing environments and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Experience troubleshooting ETL/BI tools and error handling.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support and travel as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI.
• Strong Python scripting capabilities.
