Description

You will manage, maintain, and optimize Teradata database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teradata databases, including troubleshooting and active system management.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using Data Stream Architecture (DSA) and Netbackup.
• Manage access rights, roles, profiles, space, and database objects.
• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and code reviews for Teradata best practices.
• Monitor systems using Viewpoint, PDCR, DBQL, and RESUAGE (RSS).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Teradata DBA experience.
• Proficiency with BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MULTILOAD, and TPT.
• Strong command of DDL, DML, SQL, functions, and stored procedures in Teradata.
• Experience with Viewpoint monitoring and administration.
• Knowledge of join strategies and data migration between systems.
• Hands-on experience with Data Stream Architecture (DSA) and Netbackup.
• Competency in DBQL and Performance Data Collection and Reporting (PDCR).
• Any Graduate degree.
