Description

You design, develop, and support Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions within a large Teradata environment, owning the full development lifecycle and providing post-implementation support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL solutions using Teradata tools and utilities.
• Perform problem assessment and resolution for existing data warehouse systems.
• Monitor system performance and execute tuning to optimize query impact.
• Manage all phases of the development life cycle from design to deployment.
• Provide on-call production support, including off-hours and weekends.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Teradata application development.
• Expertise in Teradata load utilities: FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump, and BTEQ.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
• Extensive experience with Teradata stored procedures, macros, and functions.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and code reviews.
• Experience with Teradata Cloud (Vintage).
• Background in the manufacturing domain.
• Degree in Computer Science or any graduate degree.
