Description

You will design, deploy, and manage Teradata-based data warehousing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Teradata with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Data Studio.
• Develop and maintain data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and data quality.
• Build and manage ETL processes using Informatica to transform data into the Teradata warehouse.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize for efficient processing.
• Implement security measures, backup strategies, and recovery procedures to protect sensitive data.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with GCP, Teradata data warehousing, and Informatica.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.
• Hands-on experience with batch and event-based/streaming data ingestion.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehouse design principles.
• Knowledge of ETL tools, practices, and cloud security/compliance best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting Teradata systems.
