Teradata to GCP Data Migration Engineer

You will manage data migration projects moving workloads from Teradata and Netezza to Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Execute migrations from Teradata and Netezza environments to GCP.
• Collaborate with development staff to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
• Plan and accomplish technical goals independently or within a team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 4+ years of Teradata experience.
• 4+ years of GCP experience.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Python, and Unix.
• Experience with Teradata migration tools including bteq, fastload, mload, and tpump.
• Proficiency with GCP services: Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, and Dataflow.
• Experience with Netezza environments.
• Degree in any graduate field.
