Description

You will design, build, and maintain the observability platform for our AWS infrastructure. You own the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Terraform, OpenSearch, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement observability solutions on AWS using OpenSearch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and maintain observability resources.
• Configure OpenSearch for centralized logging and build search indices for monitoring and alerting.
• Set up Prometheus to collect and store metrics from AWS services and application workloads.
• Integrate Grafana for visualization, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms based on data from Prometheus and OpenSearch.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, including state management, modules, and resource provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), CloudWatch, EC2, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
• Deep knowledge of monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Prometheus exporters and scraping metrics from AWS and applications.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards, visualizations, and alerts in Grafana.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for deploying observability stacks.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Helm charts for deploying Prometheus and Grafana in containerized environments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
