You will test and validate application functionality to ensure it meets business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand business processes, technologies, and architectures.
• Create or modify test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements.
• Define and ensure availability of appropriate test data within the test environment.
• Execute and status test cases, providing proof of testing and documenting defects in the required test management tool.
• Assist in driving issues to closure and deliver quality work to application teams and business partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in testing roles.
• Hands-on experience testing POS transactions and retail workflows.
• Experience designing and executing test scenarios for sales, returns, exchanges, refunds, promotions, discounts, tax calculations, and tender types.
• Ability to validate tables using SQL queries.
• Knowledge of retail business processes, including sales, returns, promotions, and inventory availability.
• Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
• Experience working on projects involving multiple teams and resources, including onshore/offshore models.

• Retail experience.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
