Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve test automation architecture using tools like Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, and AccelQ
Framework Development: Build and maintain automation frameworks for unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.. as well as migration from Selenium to AccelQ
Performance Engineering: Design and execute performance test strategies using JMeter or equivalent tools LoadRunner, or cloud-based tools; analyze bottlenecks and optimize application performance
CI/CD Integration: Embed test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC
Mentorship & Governance: Guide SDETs and QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to testing best practices and security standards
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain architecture documents, test strategies, traceability matrices, and performance dashboards
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 12+ years in QA automation and performance engineering.
Automation Tools: Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, and AccelQ,
Performance Tools: JMeter/ LoadRunner/ Locust, or cloud-native performance testing platforms
Languages: Java, Python, Groovy, TypeScript.
CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS (migration experience is a plus)
Frameworks: Experience with building scalable test frameworks and service virtualization
Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Certifications in automation tools or performance testing.
Experience with Salesforce integration and microservices architecture
