Role Overview:

The Test Architect will be responsible for designing and governing scalable, robust test automation frameworks for enterprise-wide solutions across UI, API, and backend systems. This role involves integrating automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback, as well as evaluating and selecting appropriate automated testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and govern scalable, robust test automation frameworks from the ground up for UI, API, and backend systems.
• Integrate automated testing seamlessly into deployment pipelines to enable continuous testing, shift-left methodologies, and rapid feedback.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives and select the best automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium).
• Enable end-to-end testing (SIT, regression, integration) and continuous testing enablement in DevOps pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in QA and test automation, with a proven track record of designing enterprise-wide testing solutions.
• Experience in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and data layers.
• Proficiency with test automation tools and technologies including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured, and TestNG.
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins.
• Expertise in Test Strategy & Governance, including test planning, automation roadmap development, and regression suite design.
• Strong experience in API automation and backend validation.
• Knowledge of Agile & QE Practices, including Agile delivery, continuous testing, and automation pyramid alignment.
• Skills in Defect & Quality Management, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), defect triage, and reporting using Jira/AL.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA and test automation
