Description

You will define and drive the overall test architecture and quality strategy for enterprise applications, ensuring high quality, scalability, and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide test architecture and quality strategy aligned with STLC standards.
• Implement and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python, BDD, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Establish testing standards, best practices, and governance across functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and oversee non-functional testing including performance and security.
• Mentor QA leads and test engineers while collaborating with development, DevOps, and business teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall testing experience, including 4+ years in a Test Architect or QA Architect role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing automation frameworks with Python, BDD, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Proficiency in API testing for REST and SOAP using Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to drive onsite/offshore teams and lead test planning, estimation, and risk-based testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Telecom or Media domain.
• Experience with cloud testing on AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.
