Description

Define and implement the overall test automation strategy and framework architecture for scalable quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Mentor and guide QA automation engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging automation tools, including AI-powered testing solutions, to enhance framework capabilities.
• Define metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track automation coverage and effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in test automation and framework design.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting and framework development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, and Appium.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin), data-driven, and hybrid frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud and distributed testing platforms like BrowserStack or SauceLabs.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and automated test case generation.
