Description

You will design and build scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications, while defining automation strategies and mentoring QA engineers across teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright, WebDriverIO, and RestAssured.
• Define automation strategy within Agile/DevOps teams, optimizing CI/CD pipelines for execution time and coverage.
• Mentor and train QA engineers and SDETs, establishing guidelines for test design patterns and code reviews.
• Research and integrate AI/ML-based tools for self-healing scripts and intelligent test case prioritization.
• Collaborate with QA Leads, Developers, and DevOps to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Software Testing, with 10+ years in Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, WebDriverIO, and RestAssured.
• Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API testing, including request/response validation and contract testing.
• Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber and Mocha.
• Exposure to AI/ML in test automation or interest in exploring intelligent testing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with manual testing when project needs arise.
• Strong knowledge of testing best practices, coding standards, and software quality principles.
