Description

You will define and drive the strategy for scalable test automation across complex systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Establish automation best practices, coding standards, and reusable component libraries.
• Build and maintain end-to-end automation suites covering UI, API, and functional testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA teams on automation design and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on automation experience with Playwright (TypeScript strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of test automation architecture, design patterns, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with solid programming and debugging skills.
• Expertise in test strategy, planning, design, estimation, and execution.
• Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and related automation tools.
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms.
