You own the automation vision, roadmap, and reference architecture aligned to business goals and SDLC.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize reusable libraries, services, and accelerators using Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, and REST clients.
• Architect modular frameworks in Java supporting UI, API, DB, and contract testing while enforcing design patterns.
• Integrate test automation into Agile workflows and CI/CD pipelines to enable shift-left testing and gated releases.
• Establish governance, coding standards, and quality metrics (coverage, MTTR, ROI) and publish dashboards in Azure DevOps.
• Lead framework evolution, troubleshoot complex issues, and partner with developers and SREs to optimize test data environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation architecture.
• Expert knowledge of testing concepts, including STLC, UI, API, and DB testing.
• Hands-on mastery with Selenium, Katalon, and Playwright for modern API test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java, OOPS, and framework architecture design patterns.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining enterprise-level automation frameworks.
• Practical expertise utilizing Azure DevOps for pipelines and integrations.
• Solid understanding of Agile and CI/CD principles, including branching and versioning.
• Experience designing test data management and service virtualization strategies for microservices.
