Description

You will build scalable, platform-agnostic automated tests to qualify server and storage platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop parametrized tests for efficient platform qualification with minimal updates for new hardware.
• Identify test coverage gaps and implement solutions to improve validation signals.
• Design tests that collect and report data for analysis and continuous improvement.
• Build troubleshooting features to diagnose unique failures across dozens of configuration permutations.
• Create experiments and tooling to detect and diagnose hardware, firmware, and software health issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware, firmware, or software validation.
• Strong object-oriented Python programming skills for developing tests in Linux environments.
• Experience working through the full life cycle of server or storage platforms.
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical experience.
• Ability to select and implement appropriate open source tools for platform validation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Collaborate with the Core Framework team to improve test reliability and run validation suites.
