Description

Own test automation for embedded software platforms, building frameworks and executing plans to ensure quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional and integration test plans for software platform components.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze product requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build effective test strategies.
• Perform test failure analysis and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Monitor and report on test coverage, identifying gaps and areas for improvement in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing, preferably on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
• Strong experience in Python-based test automation and developing automated test frameworks.
• Ability to design test plans and perform failure analysis.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with issue tracking tools like Jira.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
