Lead testing efforts for software projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables through manual and automated testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing efforts, including sizing and planning required effort for releases.
• Perform manual and automated API testing for REST and SOAP services.
• Develop and execute automated tests for APIs and prepare test data for Kafka and functional testing.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Manage testing activities and track progress using qTest and Jira within Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in API testing (Restful) using RestAssured and Postman.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber for automation testing.
• Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of Unit Testing and Test Strategy development.
• Ability to create and execute Test Plans.
• Experience using Jira and qTest for defect tracking and management.
• Skill in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
