Description

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to validate firmware functionality and device behavior.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firmware engineers to define test requirements and device functionality.
• Convert manual test plans into automated workflows to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects using standard tools.
• Enhance the custom test framework for scalability and robustness.
• Document test cases, scripts, and results for traceability and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python 3.
• Experience with Behave or similar BDD frameworks.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Page Factory pattern.
• Professional experience using Linux servers.
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with software testing principles and automation concepts.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems or firmware development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with device communication protocols such as UART, CAN, or USB.
• Knowledge of DICOM and healthcare domain testing, preferably imaging.
• Experience with Django, Django-Rest, QF Test, and Python libraries like Pillow, Paramiko, PyAutoGUI, and OCR.
