Description

You will own the test automation strategy and execution for mobile applications, ensuring consistent quality through scripting and framework maintenance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.
• Analyze automation results and report failures promptly to ensure process consistency.
• Collaborate with leadership to research, investigate, and implement test automation strategies.
• Train QA resources and partner with external vendors to define environment requirements.
• Integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting with product teams and Scrum Masters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on coding experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
• 3+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools for bug tracking and test case management, specifically JIRA and Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience defining best practices for automation within cross-organizational teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience partnering with external vendors on environment requirements.
• Background in training and mentoring QA resources.
