Description

Design, develop, and own end-to-end manual and automated testing for assigned releases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST API frameworks.
• Lead testing activities for assigned modules, ensuring quality gates and exit criteria are met.
• Drive in-sprint Agile testing, participating in planning, estimation, and risk discussions.
• Validate user stories early within sprint cycles to ensure defect prevention and early detection.
• Define and optimize functional, regression, and E2E execution strategies using shared frameworks and cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or REST API automation.
• 3–5 years of E2E digital flow testing across Mobile, Web, and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript (2–4 years hands-on).
• Experience with Appium for mobile automation (2–3 years).
• Proficiency in SQL for transaction validation and data verification (2–3 years).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab and test management tools such as JIRA and qTest.
• Strong understanding of validation flows including authentication, payments, and order lifecycles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing solutions for test generation and smart test selection.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive QE standards and continuous improvement.
