Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright
Build robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
Perform test planning, test case design, and defect tracking
Ensure test coverage for:
1. Functional testing
2. Regression testing
3. Cross-browser testing
Analyse test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution
Lead automation best practices and mentor junior QA engineers
Improve test performance, stability, and execution time
Contribute to shift-left testing and promote a quality-first culture
AI-Driven Testing Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven years of experience in QA automation engineering
Strong experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)
Hands-on experience with:
Web automation testing frameworks
REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
Solid programming skills in:
TypeScript / JavaScript
(Optional: Python / Java / C#)
Experience with CI/CD tools:
Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Strong understanding of:
Software testing methodologies
Agile/Scrum development processes
Test lifecycle management
Bachelor's degree
