Description

Lead QA automation for UI and backend services, defining strategies and owning the release pipeline.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Python.
• Define test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution plans aligned with project goals.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Review test scripts, ensure coding best practices, and mentor junior testers.
• Track test progress, manage defects in Jira, and report quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Python.
• Experience testing RESTful data services and APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (Git), and defect tracking (Jira).
• Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing ones.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and .NET Web applications.
• Understanding of Test Metrics, Change, and Release Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API testing tools like Fiddler and APM tools like Dynatrace.
• Experience with AWS, containers, and backend APIs/MQ.
