Description

Lead automation strategy and execution across UI, API, backend, and integration testing layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define the automation roadmap and manage the backlog, including scope, estimations, and sprint planning.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid automation frameworks.
• Oversee manual and automated test execution to ensure stability, repeatability, and timely delivery.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and enforce coding standards through code reviews.
• Analyze and publish quality metrics, including coverage, pass/fail trends, and defect leakage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in test automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium, LeanFT, or BDD Cucumber.
• Strong Java coding skills for automation development.
• API validation expertise using RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.
• Experience testing frontend, backend, database, and Mainframe/AS400 (iSeries) systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience integrating LLM agents such as O365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Gemini for test design and execution.
• Ability to communicate technical risks and status to non-technical stakeholders.
• ISTQB or Advanced Test Automation certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
